Residencial Duquesa is one of the best developments in the area with 24-hour security, service staff on site Monday to Friday, parking garage, green areas and two pool areas. If you need to do the laundry during your stay there is a washing machine in a separate room.This nice and comfortable apartment is a perfect holiday home for a family or a couple.
There is a lot to see and experience in the area. San Luis de Sabinillas has the charm of a typical Spanish village, with a nice boardwalk lined with bars and restaurants. In Sabinillas you can also visit a traditional market every Sunday morning and every Fridaythere is a smaller market at the promenade . Just next to Sabinillas you find the popular Puerto de la Duquesa, considered to be one of the best marinas of Costa del Sol. In the marina you can book boat and fishing trips or just enjoy the wide range of restaurants and bars. A short walk from the marina is a 17th century fortress in the small and quaint village of Castillo de la Duquesa - once a big Roman fishing village. Here you will also find a range of very good restaurants.
If you want to play golf, there are a wide range of golf courses nearby, such as Finca Cortesin, ranked as the top 5 of golf courses in Spain according to Golf World Magazine. There are of course great opportunities to practice a variety of water sports such as kite surfing, surfing, paddleboarding, sailing, kayaking. For the hiking enthusiasts there are great opportunities, especially in the mountains you will find many routes with nice nature experiences and panoramic views. If you rent a car, do not miss visiting the amazing old mountain town of Casares (20 minutes from Sabinillas). Up in the mountains you can easily find a genuine Spanish restaurant where the locals often have their long Sunday lunches.
The apartment is located in Sabinillas / La Duquesa with only 25 min to Marbella, 20 min to Gibraltar and approx. 1 hour drive from Malaga airport.
There is transportation (bus) from Málaga Airport to Estepona, then a local shuttle (bus) to San Luis de Sabinillas.

FROM MALAGA AIRPORT, WAY A7 OR AP-7 DIRECTION ALGECIRAS (PLEASE NOTE, AP-7 IS PAID TOOL ROAD QUICKER BUT YOU MUST PAY IN CALAHONDA AND IN SAN PEDRO DE ALCANTARA)
DRIVE FOR 30 MIN APROX TO ESTEPONA. Then continue on the A7 (OLD N340 COASTAL ROAD) EXIT KM 153 DIRECTION ALGECIRAS CADIZ. FOLLOW THE ROAD FOR 10KM ALWAYS IN DIRECTIONS TO ALGECIRAS.
AT KM 144 (JUST 50 M BEFORE PUERTO DE LA DUQUESA EXIT) GET A SHARP RIGHT INTO CTRA. PART PENONCILLO 50M APROX THEN YOU SHOULD SEE A ROUNDABOUT WITH LIGHT BLUE BIG BOAT. Continue straight to the next roundabout and turn left, continue and continue to take right and you have reached RESIDENCIAL PHASE IV.
